In my last post, I introduced a silly piece of artwork I drew on a boiled egg. In this post, I wanted to introduce some of the recent pieces of artwork my wife has made and placed around our house. My wife likes to try different forms of art, and usually replaces these pieces seasonally. Forgive my terrible photography skills, as they don’t quite give the artwork justice. But again, I hope this bring a bit of joy to those who read this post.

This is the card my wife made for me for my birthday last year. It was what was waiting for me the day I got back from my first company trip. In my opinion, the simplicity and detail make it one of her best pieces.

A new form of artwork she has started recently is Alcohol Ink Art. She drops alcohol ink on some special paper, then blows the ink to spread it and dry it. We like to have our wedding vows up in the house all the time. And this is what is decorating them right now.

This is another piece of alcohol ink art in our entrance way, welcoming those who come to our house.

The final piece is a paper craft, but using computer-generated material. While the world right now is in turmoil, that isn’t how God created it in the first place. This piece reminds us that God appreciates beauty and that one day, that is how this world will be again.
